meme

a cultural unit (an idea or value or pattern of behavior) that is passed from one person to another by non-genetic means (as by imitation); “memes are the cultural counterpart of genes”

Yes, it’s a meme. And yes I am updating ScriptCoreLib.

To rehash – my Ph.D for the next 4 years is about what jsc stands for – a cross compiler.

  2. Create boundaries of Time – Have your own start and stop time

Iterate your ideas on a whiteboard and use your sleep, shower and jogging time to process the ideas. When you come back change your white board. This is the fastest way to plan your company.

Image EPS RTS

Here is a game idea:

A massive multiplayer isometric strategy game where your units are your uploaded images, videos, favorite web games or website links to a public feed. When it becomes down to battels the unit’s strength is based on a hot or not EPS metric. A player earns points by raiting other player units and when it conquers more  land with its own units.

Update: The player itself could be also rated by it’s webcam image in different categories so you could still choose your own scale in which you want to be rated. :)

  1. Cool
  2. Sexy
  3. Geeky
  4. Strong
  5. Smart

Is it already implemented?

IS Parade turns your twitter followers into a parade. Pretty cool.

Update: Your twitter followers are your main avatars minnions!

Integrated with jsc portal :)

Where can I buy such a setup? Can I add some Augmented Reality to brush up the visuals?

A year ago I found a website which allowed you to play a multiplayer tank deathmatch game over flash video with toy tanks. I could not find it now.

PSD

Where is the Photoshop File Formats.pdf file?

You need to request the Photoshop File Formats documentation explicitly

On the other hand…

There be dragons!

You could use it to get the most basic elements of a document, as long as you are prepared for hours of trial and error as well, but most features post-5.0 are either described as black boxes, or left out entirely. Clearly nobody inside Adobe uses this document or is properly updating it for third parties.

Update: Form Field Elements

While PSD is an industry standard you may be able to just use Paint.NET to edit them.

Manually converting PSD to HTML.

There is even a book!

Update: Slav has an ActionScript implementation.

Recover from disk2vhd

The other day I made a snapshot of the current running native operating system. While I was able to attach to the created vhd I was not able to do a virtual boot with it.  I had to do a virtual boot from Windows Vista Recovery DVD and after choosing the language I was able to initiate a system recovery.

A few hours later, while installing Integration Features I was greeted by another annoyance. Yay.

Your copy of Windows is not genuine

Oh, did I say Virtual PC is really slow for me? I bet I would be better of mounting that VHD, resetting file system permissions and extracting the files I need.
