Could QR Code embed animation within it’s limit of 2,953 bytes?

The current version of Barcode Scanner for Android scanner does not work with the data URI.

QR-Code bots

While searching for the answer I did find an awesome QR-Code bots visualization.

Sky Island

As we already are into blocks I here is a game which applies some cool affine transforms on its isometric world.

In the game the player can rotate the world in 3D just like in Fez.  On my Samsung Galaxy S the game is somewhat slow tho.

  1. When will this game concept be ported to WebGL or Molehill?
  2. Will an affine transform tetris emerge?
  3. With affine transforms could Minecraft be transformed into a Minecraft 2D – a digging game like Gem Miner for Android?
  4. When will Fez run on Android?

PS. For a while I have been downloading such cool animations via Google Reader. Yet it took me a while to find the real source feeds for them.

Money grows in a field. Its made of cotton.

“A job is a short term solution to a long-term problem.” - Robert Kiyosaki

The #1 difference between rich people and the middle class, is that while the middle class works for money, the rich make money work for them.

There are three types of income:

  1. Earned income – Your Salary
  2. Portfolio income – Dividends from your assets
  3. Passive income – Commisions and revenue

Ideas must be presented

Most ideas fail, not because they are bad ideas, but because they are badly presented.

Most new ideas look crazy at first. Most old ideas look crazy at last. - Onliners

[...] Your first 30 seconds will make a huge difference to the rest of the presentation. Mention an experience they can relate to, make them laugh or just surprise the audience, and you are likely to have their attention for a fair number of minutes. They are expecting additional surprises and therefore are likely to listen carefully to every word you say, not to miss your next joke/surprise.

Transmover New Generation

Tim from IndieGames has intruduced yet another awesome puzzler “Transmover New Generation” to kill time with.

While playing this new game the following games and ideas game into mind:

  • Could we apply multplayer on such games?
  • Could we apply automatic replays on such games?

Remember, as Chris has observed, there may be a rather big market just for observers, who like to watch others playing.

Raph Koster Social Mechanics for Social Games

Cory has directed me to a new awesome presentation from Raph Koster.

A few highlights:

  • Players compete to get stuff, and whatever I get, you can’t have.
  • I can take your stuff, you can take my stuff
  • A game where players have secret roles
  • Transitions of state (birth, marriage, death, levelling up)
